Kamen Rider Blade (character)

Kamen Rider Blade is the second rider to appear in the Kamen Rider Blade series. However, he is the main Rider/protagonist of the series. Kenzaki Kazuma (剣崎一真) is chosen by the B.O.A.R.D. organization to become Kamen Rider Blade because of his intellect as well as his fighting skills. The role of Kazuma Kenzaki is played by Tsubaki Takayuki (椿 隆之).

[edit] Transforming
For Kazuma to change into Blade, he has to insert the sealed Category Ace of Spades (Change Beetle) card and position his buckle in front of his waist. The belt would then expand automatically around his waist. Kazuma makes an arm motion and yells out "Henshin!" (変身) and flips a portion of his buckle. The buckle would announce "Turn Up!" at this point. This would also cause a blue projection with a beetle image to come out before him. All he has to do now, is to run into the projection, which will complete the transformation into Blade. If, during battle, Kazuma receives too much damage, he will revert back to human form.

- The Ace form is Blade's first form. It is achieved by using the Category Ace of Spades (Change Beetle) card on Kazuma's belt buckle prior to transformation.

- The Jack form is Blade's second form. It is achieved by inserting the Category Queen of Spades (Absorb Capricorn) card and the Category Jack of Spades (Fusion Eagle) card into Blade's Rouze Absorber. In this form, Blade is able to fly.

- The King form is Blade's third and final form. In the TV show, it is said that this form is highly unstable, especially since the predicted transformation into King Form was that Blade would only fuse with his Category King Undead (much like Jack Form, where there is only fusion with the Category Jack). Instead, Kenzaki manages to fuse with all of his 13 Undeads at once. Thus, only Kazuma can achieve it. It is achieved by inserting the Category Queen of Spades (Absorb Capricorn) card and the Category King of Spades (Evolution Caucasus) card into Blade's Rouze Absorber. Upon deactivation, Kazuma would faint as the power drains his consciousness. In addition, this form brought him closer to being turned into an Undead (specifically, into another Joker). At the end of the series, Kenzaki uses this form and the Joker's power to become an Undead.

[edit] Navy Joker Form
- In a last ditch effort to save humanity and Hajima, Kenzaki intentionally abuses the use of the King Form, knowing that continued use would accelerate his fusion rate with the 13 Undead of the Spade Deck. He eventually succeeds, becoming a new Joker Undead, but in the process, forfeits his humanity. But as he'd planned, this would prolong the "Battle Fight" and spare Hajime his terrible fate. After the incident, Kenzaki vanishes; never to be seen again.
- Although human in form, the Joker buckle is graphed onto his body, indentifying him as a true Joker Undead; though it's possible that Kenzaki has no Undead Form as Hajime/Black Joker or Shimura/Albino Joker does. In recent merchandising of the rouse cards, there is a Joker Card that's colored Navy Blue; assuming that is Kenzaki's sealed card.

- BLAY BUCKLE
- The Blay Buckle is the buckle initially used to transform Kazuma into Blade.
- BLAY ROUZER
- The Blay Rouzer is used as a sword weapon and to store sealed Rouze Cards (sealed Undead). It also stores Proper Blanks. It has 5000 AP (attack points) available for Blade to rouse cards in order to activate attacks and/or abilities.
- ROUZE ABSORBER
- Worn on the left arm, the Rouze Absorber stores the Category Jack of Spades (Fusion Eagle), the Category Queen of Spades (Absorb Capricorn), and the Category King of Spades (Evolution Caucasus) cards. The cards can be rouzed to transform Blade into the Jack or King form.

- BLAY ROUZER
- The Blay Rouzer becomes longer and more stronger in Jack form. It has 7400 AP available for Blade to rouse cards in order to activate attacks and/or abilities.
- BLAY ABSORBER
- The Blay Absorber is the enhanced version of the Rouze Absorber. A panel with the eagle/spade design now appears on top of it.

- KING ROUZER
- The King Rouzer is the enhanced version of the Blay Rouzer. It is now a large broadsword-shaped Rouzer that can also rouse cards for attacks. It has 9600 AP available for Blade to rouse cards in order to activate attacks and/or abilities.
- KING ABSORBER
- The King Absorber is the enhanced version of the Blay Absorber. It has a panel that forms on the top like the Evolution Caucasus design on King form's torso armor.

- This card's ability was not shown in the series but it could be assume that it uses the power of magnetism.

- This card gives Blade or the Blue Spader more speed.
- When rouzed, the rouzer announces "Mach".
- Uses 1600 AP.
- Category 10 of Spades: "Time Scarab"
- Although Blade never used it, Ace King did and it is believe this card can stop the movement of time.

- Category Jack of Spades: "Fusion Eagle" (Kougen)
- This card can recharge the Rouzer with AP, and can be used (along with the Category Queen of Spades) to transform Blade into the Jack form.
- When rouzed, the absorber announces "Fusion Jack".
- Adds an additional 2400 AP.
- Category Queen of Spades: "Absorb Capricorn" (Yazawa)
- This card can recharge the Rouzer with AP, and can be used to transform Blade into the Jack form (along with the Category Jack of Spades) or the King form (along with the Category King of Spades).
- When rouzed, the absorber announces "Absorb Queen"
- Adds an additional 2000 AP.

The Blue Spader is a motorbike developed by B.O.A.R.D. that is specially designed for Blade. The Rouze Cards can be used with the Blue Spader to activate certain abilities.
