Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park is a stadium located in Charleston, South Carolina. The stadium is named after Charleston's longest serving (and current) mayor, Joseph P. Riley, Jr.. The stadium replaced College Park.
Affectionately nicknamed "The Joe" by locals, Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park is primarily used for baseball and is the home field of the Charleston RiverDogs minor league baseball team and the men's baseball team at The Citadel, whose campus is located nearby. As such, it has also hosted several Southern Conference baseball tournaments. It was built in 1997 and holds 5,900 people. Soon the stadium will be expanded to accommodate Charleston's rapidly growing population.
