Joseph Brunton

Joseph A. Brunton, Jr. was one of the charter members of the Octoraro Lodge #22 of the Chester County Council, Boy Scouts of America in 1927, and later became the National Order of the Arrow Conference Chief.
He served as the Boy Scouts of America's Chief Scout Executive from 1960 to 1966.
Brunton was awarded the Bronze Wolf, the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting, in 1967.
