Johnny Neel

Johnny Neel is a keyboard artist formally with the Allman Brothers Band from Wilmington, Delaware. He was born June 11, 1954 and became blind shortly after his birth. His first band was "Johnny Neel and the Shapes of Soul," with whom he cut a single at the age of 12. He later formed a band with his two brothers called "Internal Calm." He attended St. Mark's High School in Wilmington, Delaware.
In addition to his tenure with several members of the Allman family, Neel has also worked with Willie Nelson, Dickey Betts, and Gov't Mule. Neel is currently performing with Bruce Willis & The Excellarators.
