Joseph "Joe" Pichler (born 14 February 1987 in Bremerton, Washington) is an American actor.

Pichler has been missing since January 5, 2006. Pichler's car was found January 9 at an intersection above Port Madison Narrows. Inside it was a note in which he said he was sorry he hadn't been a better role model for his younger brother and asked that his belongings go to 17-year-old A.J. However, it was on 16 January 2006 relatives reported Pichler as missing, after a note was found in his car, located in a parking lot near Bremerton, Washington, where he lived alone in an apartment, suggested he may have been planning suicide ([1]).

His death has not been confirmed, although suicide is one of a number of scenarios being investigated by police.

The last outgoing call on Joe's cell phone was placed at 4:30 a.m. on Jan. 5 to a friend who had been drinking alcohol with earlier that day while writing some poetry together. After driving one of his guests home, Pichler called a friend in the early morning upset about something. The friend calmed him down, but no one has heard from him since.

The second-youngest of five children, Joe Pichler lived across town from his parents, A.J. and 20-year-old sister, Samantha.

Pichler moved to Los Angeles as a child to pursue his acting career, and appeared in a number of movies and television shows. He starred in the third and fourth installments of the Beethoven movies, comedies about the antics of a mischievous St. Bernard.

The actor returned to his native Bremerton, about 22 miles west of Seattle, three years ago and graduated from high school this year. He had planned to return to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.
