Jhagadia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jhagadia Taluka has a town called Bhalod on Narmada river bank, across from Koral town. Bhalod is famous for farming bananas, cotton, and sugarcane. Many people regard Bhalodis as being smart, industrious, and hard working. Legend has it that Jhagadia used to be a Brahmin town (Brahmins are the priestly caste in Hindu society). However, today many Bhalodis have ventured out of the Jhagadia to many parts of the world primarily in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Africa.
