Jacques Rosenbaum

Jacques Rosenbaum (June 2, 1878 in Haapsalu, Estonia - January 6, 1943 in Berlin, Germany) was an Estonian architect of Baltic German descent. From 1904 to 1907 Rosenbaum was the city architect of Tartu. After that he worked in Tallinn.
Most of Rosenbaum's work is catecorised as art nouveau, although there's much influence of classicistic and heimat architecture. Rosenbaum's style is often characterised by fantastic sculptures and decorations. Besides several apartment buildings, private dwellings and villas, Rosenbaum has also designed some factories.
