Indra IV
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Indra IV (973 - 982) C.E. was the last king and a nephew of the Western Ganga Dynasty of Talakad, a stauch feudatory of the Rashtrakuta. The Ganga king Marasimha II tried hard to keep the dwindling Rashtrakuta empire intact but in vain. Marasimha II committed Sallekhana in 975 and Indra IV followed him in 982. Thus the dynasty of Rashtrakutas vanished into history.
