Indian Valley High School is one of two high schools in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. It currently is located at 700 Cedar Street, Lewistown, PA 17044. It serves residents of the Borough of Lewistown and communties to the borough's north and east. It is part of the Mifflin County School District. Ronald L. Varner is the current principal of the school. Michael V. Zinobile is the current assistant principal.

Indian Valley High School, formerly known as Chief Logan High School, opened in 1989 as a result of the merger of Chief Logan and Kishacoquillas high schools.
[edit] Curriculum
According to the Mifflin County School District, students at Indian Valley must meet the following requirements to receive a diploma for the 2006-2007 school year:
- A student must accumulate a total of at least 23 credits to meet graduation requirements.
- A student must successfully complete a career-oriented graduation project to meet graduation requirements. The project will be in addition to the successful completion of English 11.
- A student must participate in one year of extra-curricular activity.
- A student must successfully complete the following required courses to meet graduation requirements:
Four years of English (4 credits), Four years of Social Studies (4 credits), Two years of Science (2 credits), One year of Biology (1 credit), Four years of Mathematics (4 credits), One year of Computer Related Work (1 credit), Two years of Health (0.5 credits), Four years of Physical Fitness (1.5 credits), Elective courses totaling five (5) credits.
- If a student successfully completes course work at Career and Technology Center in 10th, 11th and 12th grades, he/she will be exempt from taking the senior year social studies and senior year math courses.
Starting for the 2008-2009 Academic Year the Career and Technology Center will offer full-day classes for the duration of 6 periods after the first period class at the students' respective home-school(s).

Indian Valley's athletic teams are called the Warriors and their colors are red and black.
Indian Valley High School sponsors the following sports:
- Boys: Cross Country, Football, Soccer, Golf, Basketball, Baseball, Wrestling, Tennis, Track & Field
- Girls: Cross Country, Soccer, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Tennis, Golf, Track & Field
On Friday, October 28th, 2006 Indian Valley High School won the Iron Kettle back from local rival Lewistown Area High School.
The boys' basketball is regarded state-wide as the heavy favorites to win the District title, the first in school history...and expected to fare well in the AAA state championships

A new school building is planned for the 2009-2010 school year. It is to be placed further up the hill overlooking the current school's track complex. The original school will replace the current Indian Valley Middle School. However, environmental concerns are present, as the construction of the school will cause the removal of many trees. The school is rumored to be a more 'state-of-the-art' facility, with move advanced technologies present in the classrooms for teachers to utilize. But this new school still does not include a swimming pool due to budget reasons since it would cost Mifflin County School District $3 million dollars
Students who are scheduled to graduate before the new school's completion feel a collected sense of animosity towards the project, feeling that they are being denied the right to take part in history.
