"Hidden Place" was the first single from singer Björk's album Vespertine.
The music video for the song was directed by art directors/graphic designers Michael Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak aka M/M (Paris) as well as photographers Inez van Lamswerde and Vinoodh Matadin. It featured various fluids flowing in and out of Björk's facial orifices, such as her eyes, nose, and mouth. It was heavily played in the United States and a DVD single was released, one of the few commercial singles available in the U.S. by Björk. The single peaked at number twenty-one in the UK and number sixteen in Canada.
