HCA (Heterocyclic animes)
HCA is a carcinogen that gets produced when animal muscle meat comesin contact with temperature greater than 160C.
Several ways to prevent or minimize the production of HCA when cooking meat.
1. Put the meat in microwave for about 1 minute and 30 seconds before cooking.
2. Immerse the meat in green tea for 24 hours before cooking.
3. Eat cooked meat with moderate amount of beer. The excessive consumption of beer will do more harm than good.
