“Help children” international action
“Help children” international action was initiated in 2005 by a team of the Ukrainian and Russian journalists and writers that published in the Internet their appeal to publishers. The appeal text is quoted below.
This appeal is addressed to publishers and journalists
We propose to newspaper and magazine publishers to join the charitable action that is conducted by BABR.Ru (БАБР.Ру) informational portal (Irkutsk city) and "Sashka - Wild Rabbit" internet magazine for children (Kiev). The kernel of our proposition is stated below: It is no a secret that a huge amount of children are in great need for help today. Especially the help is necessary for children having serious illness such as leucosis. However not all the families can pay for the medical treatment without assistance. We know that comparatively small amount for some remedy buying is required sometimes. However that amount is needed just presently because it will be too late tomorrow. By what thing can we help? We propose to newspaper and magazine publishers sharing our anxiety about seriousness of the problem to publish "The Elemoont or Andrei Lubensky's diverse elemoontian stories" fairy tale and Sashka - Wild Rabbit's stories" narrative and to transfer the royalties to the children who need medical treatment but have no ability to pay for it. There is the consent of the Elemoomt+" fairy tale author (Andrei Lubensky) and the graphics in this tale author (Alexander Safonov) and also "Sashka - Wild Rabbit's stories" narrative author (Sergei Tyshkovets) to a free publication these works. You may independently determine the addresses for help. If you have no information of such addresses, we will publish the list of organizations where you can get an opinion. The first items of the list are given below:

You may publish these books both completely and extracts. We shall publish the list of Organizations, Groups, and Persons taking part in the Action. We hope that by common efforts we can help many children.
