Hawaldar Bahadur was the name of a character in Manoj Comics, a popular comics company of India. He was the main humorous character of Manoj Comics.
Hawaldar Bahadur was a comedian character. He was a police constable. A thin man, having long moustache and with a stick in his hand. He had a fat and commanding wife and a foolish but wrestler loooking brother in law named Tunda. he had an Inspector-in-charge, a thick moustache man.
Stories of Hawaldar Bahadur used to be humorous. Most enjoying part were his dialogs. They had Haryana accent. Although he is a policeman and dealing with criminals, but all characters would be comic and it will be a fun to read story.
His first comic was titled as Hawaldar Bahadur. He remained a popular character from his first comics in early 90s till the closure of Manoj Comics in late 90s.
