Harris levels
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Harris levels are levels for the computer game Doom created by Eric Harris, one of the two teen gunmen in the Columbine High School massacre.
An urban legend spread that these levels were designed to look like the halls of the high school, populated with representations of Harris's classmates and teachers, and that Harris "practiced" for Columbine by playing these levels over and over. In actuality, while Harris did design Doom levels (an activity not uncommon for fans of the game), there is no evidence that they were actually intended to be simulations of Columbine. The Harris level packs have modifications that enhance the carnage of the original programming; generous supplies of monsters, ammunition, and weapons are some of the other features of the levels created by Eric Harris.
