Hard Hat Brotherhood
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Hard Hat Brotherhood is a men’s organization founded in 2004 by Andrew Thomas Smith and his wife Char of Dexter, Michigan. There are no initiations, no rules and no bylaws. Its aim is social interaction, and to encourage fun and friendship through common male bonds.
The organization bases its origins with hard hats because it is stereotypically a male symbol and is also very visible.
As of February of 2006 the Hard Hat Brotherhood has groups of members known as Crews in six countries including the United States, Canada, England, Australia, Nigeria and Barbados. Within the USA there are currently crews registered in 21 states.
