Gretchen Polhemus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
After winning the title Miss Texas USA, Gretchen Polhemus was crowned the 38th Miss USA in 1989. Against all odds, she was the 5th out of five consecutive Texas representatives to win the title that decade. With long light-brown hair and a voluptuous figure, she is to this day considered one of the most attractive and all-American winners of the crown. She was later the 2nd runner-up at the Miss Universe pageant.
Since then, Polhemus has worked as a professional model, a sports correspondent for ESPN and most recently she has worked for a CBS affiliate as a news correspondent.
