Gonbad-e Kavous

Gonbad-e Kavous is a city in the country of Iran. Historically it has been one biggest city populated by Turkmens in Iran. Recently, some have been speaking of Gonbad-e Kavous becoming a newcomer on the horse racing scene, as its environment leads to natural racepaths. The famous tower sharing the name of the town is located nearby.
It is located in the northwest of Iran in the province of Golestan.
