Giv'at Ze'ev (Hebrew: גבעת זאב) is a large Local council within the borders of the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council, just to the northwest of Jerusalem. It is one of the largest Israeli settlements with a 2004 population of 10,635.
Giv'at Ze'ev was founded in 1982, and was declared a Local council in 1984. It has six elementary schools and one junior high school.
It is located just off of Highway 443, and thus has easy access to both Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv area.
It can be reached by public transportation from/to Jerusalem using Egged bus 171,271,371.
It can be reached by public transportation from/to Tel-Aviv using Egged bus 471.
