Gerald A. Tinker (born January 19, 1951) is a former American athlete and American football player, winner of gold medal in 4x100 m relay at the 1972 Summer Olympics.
At the München Olympics, Gerald Tinker ran the third leg in the American 4x100 m relay team, which won a gold medal and equalled the United States' own world record of 38.19.
After the Olympics, Tinker played a professional football in Atlanta Falcons (seasons 1974 and 1975) and in Green Bay Packers in a 1976 season.
