George Vernadsky

George Vernadsky (1887-1973) (Russian: Георгий Вернадский) an American historian and an author of numerous books on Russian history. His father was Vladimir Vernadsky, the first President of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
After emigrating to the United States in 1927, George Vernadsky served the position of a research associate in history (1927-1946) and professor of Russian history (1946-1956).
