Bishop George Postlethwaite is a reccuring fictional character in ITV's Soap Opera Emmerdale. He is played by Peter Cartwright. His most recent appearance was in 2006 when he visited Reverend Ashley Thomas and his wife Laurel. On his last appearance in November 2005, he presided over Ashley and Laurel's wedding.
