Frutal is a city and a microregion (see Frutal (microregion)) in the western part of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It has approximately 49,204 inhabitants and the area is 2,436 km² The elevation is 566 m.
Frutal is linked with a highway linking to Barretos and north to Goiás. The reservoir that supplies water and hydro lies to the south.
