[edit] Regarding your comment on DU talk page, David L. Wolper section

This is a copy of my reply to you there.

  • I have taken your comment to heart, and adjusted my comment. I posted that some time back, before I was registered here, and recently signed it with my registered username. The edit summary should reflect that. I would suggest you take a look at my edit history before you pass judgement on my value as a Wiki editor. Yes, I am a conservative, but I have made more than a couple of positive contributions to Wikipedia beyond arguing with users such as User:BenBurch. In fact, I would stack my edit history against his any day of the week. And FYI, I can post on DU, just not under this username, and not expressing a conservative POV. I will copy this reply to your talk page. Crockspot 16:22, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] KFAN/KFXN

I made the edit on KFXN on the Minneapolis/St. Paul AM template because KFXN redirected to KFAN, and I already knew that KFXN had its own programming. Thanks anyways.--grejlen - talk 05:39, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New userboxes

I have deleted a userbox template you recently created, as userboxes should no longer be created in templatespace per the terms of the German userbox final solution. Here is the userbox code so that you can recreate the userbox in your userspace ("userfying") if you wish.

<div style="float: left; border:solid green 1px; margin: 1px;">
{| cellspacing="0" style="width: 238px; background: white;"
| style="width: 45px; height: 45px; background: green; text-align: center; font-size: {{{5|{{{id-s|14}}}}}}pt; color: {{{id-fc|white}}};" | <center>'''FM'''<center>
| style="font-size: {{{info-s|8}}}pt; padding: 4pt; line-height: 1.25em; color: {{{info-fc|black}}};" | <center>This user is a former Presenter on '''[[FM broadcasting|FM radio]]'''.
|}</div>

[edit] KZBR and KMAX-FM

Please use the move function, instead of copy-and-paste, when renaming a page. This avoids splitting the page history in several places. —Whomp t/c 02:33, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] mike malloy timing

Hi - I'm wondering why you prefer past tense descriptions of Mike Malloy's radio hosting? He is still hosting the show, and the "Until" and "Prior to" versions of the text imply otherwise. Thanks for your comments.

How about that? You were exactly right. Thanks for keeping on top of things better than me. Debivort 17:18, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jon Elliott

You added some wrong info to the Jon Elliott page. He hosts from noon-2. He is only going to be a temp host at AAR not a permanent.

[edit] KOME

You have made some serious edits and are removing important information which appears to be legitemate. For example your last multi-pronged edit, which you described as "(clean-up)" [1] removed this statement :

Power was 12,500 watts, per Apr / May 1979 Arbitron, from antenna near Los Gatos, California. At this writing, that frequency is currently home to KUFX "The Fox".

Though I understand there are some presentation and sentence structure elements that may require revision I didn't see anything that required this seemingly IMPORTANT information to be deleted. I have asked you on the KOME discussion page why you are removing relevant information. Here is the message I posted:

At a first glance what you are doing appears to be removing any inconvenient truths that don't fit within what you would like the article to be. (ex.: 12000 watts? FM movie? Nemi?) I think that would be called adding a POV by removing perfectly good information. I can certainly appreciate the fact that you appear to be cleaning-up the article. In fact the first thing I generally look for is to ensure the article uses proper wiki rules when citing and giving information, found at WP:CITE. However may I politely suggest that what you are doing may be frustrating, not only to the editors that have taken precious time to add their information, but to those who realize that bits and pieces of the article appear to have been drastically changed. I also couldn't help but notice that there was a sort of timeline. Yes perhaps this would be good to be on www.wikitimescale.org, nevertheless not everyone is familiar with this auxilary wiki feature. I alway particularly enjoy a chronology and I know that everyone learns differently. Having a different format for the information will be an asset for tactile readers. Furthermore, I can see that this article is in it's infancy, but has some room for expansion. This will require better lines of communications. I was wondering, to avoid cluttering this discussion page, if you could validate your email address. Thanking you in advance for your courteous and effective response. --CyclePat 21:28, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

In anticipation of you response. Thank you! p.s.: I will be trying to set-up my email account. I'm having difficulting with wikipedia's verification process. Thank you. --CyclePat 03:40, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

I am still waiting for your answer to the afformentioned question. It has been 7 days, and frankly, this lack of enthusiasm to answer, along with more recent observations from other users concerning your ability to properly identify a "fair use picture," creates a perpencity for me to believe that you are either "beliverant", "ignorant" or "dissobediant" to wiki rules and procedures. Secondly my prejucial values alarm is ringing like crazy and saying "this account is simply being used for "trolling" (seeWikipedia:What is a troll) and causing greef to wikipedia." Never the less I am also forming a biased opinion because of frustration from you lack of response.
The first step to conflict resolution is having both parties realize that there is in fact problem. The second step is trying to communicate that there is a problem and trying to resolve. We are unable to communicate with you. For this reason we will assume that you are no longer interest in this article. Good luck with your future edits and please, if you require any guidance, feel free to contact an advocat or administrator. --CyclePat 19:23, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

NOTE TO ALL READING THIS: I have left a reply on CyclePat's userpage, expressing my displeasure with his methods and name-calling. And I also don't appreciate the unnecessary spamming of my userpage. I warned him that if this rude behavior continues, I will notify the adminstrators. For a so-called 'advocate', this nonsense is uncalled for. I refuse to be bullied and harassed on Wikipedia. --Fightingirish 17:49, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Benmankiewicz.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Benmankiewicz.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:06, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use problem with Image:Jillpike.jpg

I notice you uploaded the image Image:Jillpike.jpg with the {{logo}} fair use image tag. However, it appears that this tag is totally unrelated to the content of the image, and as a result it may qualify for speedy deletion. Image:Jillpike.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you can find a valid tag that expresses why Image:Jillpike.jpg can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the {{logo}} tag that you have placed on it with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{fairusein|article name that the image is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the image. If the image has been deleted, you can reupload it but please ensure you place the correct tag on it. However, you must not remove the speedy deletion notice. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. --KFP (talk | contribs) 18:17, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:KMSP1979.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:KMSP1979.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 01:02, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
