European Air Transport is a cargo airline based in Brussels, Belgium. It operates express parcel services in Europe on behalf of DHL. It also offers ad hoc cargo services including livestock transport. Its main base is Brussels Airport.

The airline was established and started operations in 1971. It was founded by 4 pilots and diversified in 1972 by setting up a flying school, which in 1973 became the Piper Flying School in Europe. VIP, ambulance and express cargo charters were added later and in 1986 European Air Transport (EAT) was bought by integrator DHL to transport urgent shipments across Europe. It employs 600 staff. The airline has three hubs, Brussels, its main base of operation and home of the largest DHL sorting facility, Milan and Cologne. EAT also runs two focus cities on behalf of DHL in East Midland and Barcelona, where freight and urgent shipments are exchanged between EAT and other carriers operating on behalf of DHL to serve, respectively, the UK and Mediterrannean markets.
In 2008, DHL will reposition their main hub to Leipzig, Germany. This will result in almost complete retrenchment of current EAT and DHL Aviation staff in Brussels.

European Air Transport also operates services to the following international freight destinations (at January 2005): Milan-Bergamo, Bahrain, Dubai, Kandahar, Lyon , Tel Aviv, Copenhagen, East Midlands and Milan-Malpensa.
