Ella Logan

Ella Logan was a Glasgow, Scotland-born actress and singer, who achieved moderate fame on Broadway in the United States.
She was born Annabella Armour-Allan on March 6, 1913 in Glasgow, where she was raised and educated.
She began her career as a singer at a young age, and eventually emigrated to the US, where she debuted the role of Sharon McLonergan in the original production of Finian's Rainbow, singing the show's most famous song, How Are Things in Glocca Morra?.
She appeared on The Ed Wynn Show and The Colgate Comedy Hour, as well as in several movies in the 1930s and 1940s.
She was married to Fred Finkelhoffe, a playwright and producer, from 1942 until the marriage dissolved in either 1954 or 1956. They had no children. Her niece is the actress/chanteuse Annie Ross.
Ella Logan died of cancer on May 1, 1969 in Burlingame, California, aged 56.
