"...this period was best known as when the Hebrews were slaves in Egypt". I doubt that there is actual evidence of this; this theory is widely debated by Egyptologists and should not be stated here as fact. Stoa 17:49, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
Echad 13:22, 28 April 2006 (UTC)But there is good chance it is so, due to monotheistic craze (as stated in Torah/Bible book of Genesis and Quran, the first man, abandoned polytheism was Abraham/Ibrahim, father of all Jews and Arabs), I don't see any other possibilities of Akhenaten convert to monotheism, not knowing of it's existence at all. It also could gave some ideas of Nephertiti's whereabouts, and, taking it as a fact, Aten's pictures were of the sun disk, not as a human-animal as all other gods, which is quite uncommon for Egyptian beliefs, but wears a same symbolysm as of Judaism.
