Egidijus Balčiūnas

Egidijus Balčiūnas (born May 7, 1975 in Marijampolė) is a Lithuanian flatwater canoer. With team-mate Alvydas Duonėla, he has won three world championship gold medals in the kayak K-2 200m sprint. The pair were also finalists in the K2 500m at both the 2000 and 2004 Olympics.
Balciunas now lives in Vilnius. He is 189 cm / 6'2 tall and weighs 89 kg / 196 lbs.
