[edit] Athletics
East Forsyth High School offers many sports; they include Swimming, Wrestling, Track, and Football. State championships have been won recently in wrestling. Students can participate in any sport with a few requirements, additionally, most sports require students to "try-out". The full list of East Forsyth's Athletic programs includes: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Cheerleading, Softball, Cross Country, Swimming, Tennis, Football, Volleyball, Golf, Wrestling, and Track.
[edit] Facilities
East Forsyth currently has a total of six main classroom buildings; four buildings house eight classrooms each, and two others house ten classrooms. Two "pods" trailers are housed in the back of the campus; they each house seven classrooms each. There are also two gyms, an auditorium, cafeteria, courtyard, technology building, and an office building with a library.
Construction is ongoing on campus which will ultimaely change the entire school in some way. A two-story, "L" shaped building is currently under construction; it will house 10 classrooms, office facilities, as well as a new media center. The existing office building will be renovated, and will house the fine arts programs on campus. The auditorium and some of the current buildings have been renovated; the rest of them have been renovated this summer (06). A new traffic pattern is also planned for the campus. Most of the construction has been completed at this point in time (July 25, 2006).
