Derek Humphry is a British-born journalist(Sunday Times etc) and author of 14 books, the best known two are Jean's Way (l978) about the hastened death of his dying wife, and "Final Exit" an American number one bestseller in l991. This book is a unique guide on how to escape from the suffering of a terminal illness.
"Final Exit" remains in print in 2006 (Delta Trade Paperback) ISBN 0385336535. Revised and updated edition. In 2005 it was again printed in Italian and Spanish.
