Talk:Demographics of Saudi Arabia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eagleamn, why did you undo my change regarding the percentages of Sunni and Shi'a?
The State Department's [International Religious Freedom Report 2004] (2nd external link in the page) has the following relevant information:
its population is approximately 24 million, with an estimated foreign population of 6 to 7 million.
Approximately 2 million citizens are Shi'a Muslims
Now 2 million out of 18 million is 11%. So 11% of Saudis are Shi'a and the rest (89%) are Sunnis.

Does anyone know why there are so many more males than females? -- Charlie (Colorado) 16:09, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
