Dejan Mihajlov (Дејан Михајлов) is Secretary-General of the Government of Serbia.
He was born in 1972 in Pančevo. He graduated from the Faculty of Law. Between 2000 and 2004, Mihajlov was a president of the Democratic Party of Serbia's caucus in the Serbian parliament.
He is a secretary of the Serbian government as of 2004.
As president of Dragan Maršićanin's campaign for the Serbian presidency in the elections of 2004, he stated that his party knew who the real killers of Zoran Đinđić were. The day after that statement he said that it was the job of the police to find criminals, not his, and that he would not identify the assassins. A year later he was forced to confess that he lied. In his testimony in front of Special Court for Organized crime he said that his statement was just a weapon in political fight and that he didn't have any idea who killed Prime Minister. He refused to say who else helped him to write that press release saying that he has forgot.
On November 9, 2006, Serbian police issued arrest warrant for Mihajlov for not appearing before the Court in a case presented against him.
