Curtis Callan

Curtis Callan is a physicist and a professor at Princeton University. He has conducted research in gauge theory, string theory, solitons, black holes, strong interactions, and many other topics. He got his BS in physics from Haverford College. Later he studied physics at Princeton under Sam Treiman at Princeton and in 1964 received his doctorate degree. His own prominent PhD students include Juan Maldacena, Igor Klebanov and Peter Woit. He was awarded Dirac Medal in 2004.
