Interests and Hobbies
My politics tend to be very liberal, leaning more and more toward Democratic Socialism. I'm agnostic and I enjoy reading books about comparative religion and alternative archeology.
TV: When I do watch tv (which isn't too terrible often anymore), I enjoy all flavors of Star Trek, Stargate and FoodTV's fabulous Good Eats, Iron Chef, and Iron Chef America. Yes, I'll admit it, I have a thing for Alton Brown.
Music: The Decemberists, System of a Down, G. Love and Special Sauce, Phil Collins, Genesis
Dealing With My Addiction
My parents bought me a set of encyclopedias when I was about 7 years old. Already on the path to becoming a total nerd, that pretty much set it in stone. I've been reading the encyclopedia for fun ever since.
I read Wikipedia for quite some time before actually contributing anything, and some time in 2005 I started to make my first edits. I typically spend (on average) about an hour a day reading articles. Hopefully I'll be able to edit and write a lot more as I become comfortable with the project. I've always been more of a lurker.
