Company B (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Company B was a dance-pop trio formed in 1986 by Cuban-American producer Ish Ledesma, featuring members Lori L., Lezlee Livrano and Susan Johnson. Company B, the first album, was released later that year. Their first single, "Fascinated," received lots of radio airplay and quickly became a very popular song. It reached #1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play Chart. Today, it's regarded as a dance classic. The trio was best known for this single, as well as the giant silvery-white wigs that they always wore on stage. Although subsequent releases "Perfect Lover" and "Full Circle" received lots of plays in clubs, they received little attention on the radio. The original lineup of Company B had one final club success with "Signed In Your Book of Love" in 1988 before Johnson and Livrano left the group, only to be replaced by Donna Huntley and Julie Marie. None of their releases to date have had the success of any of their first album's singles.
