Cinderella Stamp Club
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Cinderella Stamp Club, founded in 1959 and based in the UK, is an association of philatelists, amateur and professional, whose interests lie in local stamps, telegraph stamps, railway stamps, revenues, fiscals, forgeries, bogus and phantom issues, Christmas, Red Cross, TB and other charity seals, registration labels, advertisement and exhibition labels and many other items — all of which are the so-called “Cinderellas of Philately”. The club publishes an annual journal, The Cinderella Philatelist.
As of 2005, the club had a membership of about 600, of which nearly 200 were outside the UK.
