Carrusel is a mexican telenovela, which was produced by and broadcasted on Televisa in 1989. It's about of daily in a mexican elementary school, with the child's relationships with the charismatic teacher.

Carrossel (Portuguese name) faced huge and greatly success in Brazil and until today is the most successful mexican telenovela in the country. First broadcasted in 1991, reached a number of 20 points in audience (20 million people watching) a mark obtained only in the story by Globo. Also opened the legacy of mexican telenovelas in Brazil, broadcasted by SBT that saw the audience growns up in beginning of 90's. The actress that portraited the teacher, Gabriela Rivero, becomes famous in Brazil with a close relationships with the president Fernando Collor de Mello.
