Carolyn d'Amboise

Carolyn d'Amboise, known professionally as Carolyn George, is an American ballerina and photographer. She married ballet dancer and instructor Jacques d'Amboise on New Years Day, 1956.
She was a ballerina with the New York City Ballet where she met her husband. She has four children, including principal ballet dancer Christopher d'Amboise and actress/dancer Charlotte d'Amboise. She is mother-in-law to Terrence Mann via his marriage to her daughter Charlotte. She is currently a photographer. She took the photographs published in the book Leap Year: A Year in the Life of a Dancer, which is an autobiography written by her son, Christopher.
