Calor Urbano in concert

Calor Urbano is a band that forms at the end of a 2002 as restlessness on the part of its members to make a mixture of the different musical styles that influenced them.

After some months of work, the band, with little more than a ten of songs, selects what would be its first single Calor Urban, that was sent to the national radio in the 2003 and recorded under the production and engineering of Mike Rodriguez and Jose Bordas, recognized producer, that in its trajectory have worked with the best musicians and groupings of all the sorts in the Dominican Republic. Immediately the song hitted the top of the charts in the Dominican Republic national radio and with very good critics by the understood ones of the musical scene is placed within the first places in the national listings of its sort.

In the first semester of the 2003 Calor Urbano begins a process of organization and structuring. Towards the end of the same year the band takes out the second promotional single Vertigo and in the middle of the 2004 they take the listings with his third single To Soul again, positioning within the top bands of the Dominican Republic, managing to introduce its three first singles between the main songs of the year in the scene of the Dominican Republic. In 2005 they signed their first record deal with Azares Entertainment, Dominican record company, and take out their first album in summer of 2006. The band, whose alignment is formed by Vicente Garcia in the vocals, Adolfo Guerrero like M.C, Joel Berrido in the bass and Carlos Chapuseaux in the guitars, sharing with different musicians who accompany to them in their live presentations, tries to unite influences of soul, funk, hip-hop, creating a unique style.
