Caesar Trunzo

Caesar Trunzo (born May 11, 1926) is a member of the New York State Senate, representing the third district, which is in Suffolk County.
Born in Brooklyn, he graduated from Fort Hamilton High School and Heffley and Browne Business College. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is a member of the Lions Club, Sons of Italy, and the Knights of Columbus, among other organizations.
Before his election to the State Senate, Trunzo was an accountant and member of the Islip Town Planning Board from 1959 to 1965, when he became an Islip Town Councilman. He was elected to the State Senate in 1972. He is a resident of Brentwood; he is married and a father of two.
