Burwood Soccer Club (Burwood S.C.) is an Australian Football (soccer) club based in the inner-western area of Sydney. Burwood S.C's long-established home ground is Blair Park, but have more recently been relocated to Centenary Park. Both grounds have a capacity of approximately 1000 spectators.
Burwood S.C. has traditionally been one of the biggest and best supported clubs in inner-western Sydney. Established in 1959, Burwood S.C. has enjoyed success in a number of age groups and leagues.
The club enjoys an intense, long-standing rivalry with near neighboring giants Strathfield S.C and Enfield Rovers. The teams play each other twice yearly in the Inner-West Derby. The Burwood S.C. home crowd is famed for its unbiased appreciation of stylish football by either side.

[edit] History
In 1959 Burwood S.C. was formed by young men in the busy inner-western suburb. It was originally named Burwood United, to exclusively select players living in the Burwood shire. The team later became Burwood Soccer Club in order to enable the selection and registration of players outside of the local area.
In 1965 the Canterbury District Soccer Football Association (CDSFA) was established with Burwood S.C. a foundation member. The highly respected league now includes clubs from Inner-Western Sydney:
- Burwood S.C.
- Earlwood Wanderers
- Concord Juniors
- Roselands F.C.
- Marrickville S.C.
- Inter Lions F.C.
- Canterbury S.C.
- Strathfield S.C.
- Fivedock F.C.
- Enfield Rovers
- Abbotsford S.C.
- Balmain F.C.
- Hurlstone Park United
- Belmore Hercules
Burwood S.C. experienced some success in the CDSFA. Burwood S.C. also competes in the NSW State Cup. A knock-out style tournament consisting of teams around the state no matter their performance in their own league.
In 1998, Burwood S.C. moved their home fixtures down the road to Centenary Park. The odd fixture is played at Blair Park, however, due to the poor drainage system of the park, the games are reserved for Champions of Champions fixtures and in sunny conditions.
[edit] Champions Of Champions
Burwood S.C. has had relative success in this exclusive competition of the States top club sides (like the Champions League in Europe, Champions of Champions pits the best team from every league in New South Wales against each other, in a knock-out tournament held after every season).
