Bugallon is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 57,445 people in 10,614 households.

The municipality of Bugallon was formerly called "Salasa". In the Spanish colonial era, the Spanish authorities established the town center in the barrio of Polong. The town center was later transferred to its present location where the Roman Catholic church, one of the biggest of its kind in Pangasinan, now stands.
