Bromley North railway station is in the London Borough of Bromley in south-east London, in Travelcard Zone 4. The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by Southeastern. The station is on the short Bromley North Branch Line from Grove Park.
[edit] Service
The typical off-peak service from the station is two trains an hour to Grove Park, for connections into London or to other stations in South East London.
Once upon a time the station had a direct service to London Bridge, however this was gradually cut back to peak hours only, and then eliminate completely. A pressure group exists for reinstatement of the through services.
Recently these services were re-instantiated during testing of the Class 376 Electrostars by South Eastern Trains, and on various New Years' Eves when 24 hour services are run within Greater London only and when engineering works block Kent-bound lines outside Bromley.
The station was opened in 1878.
