[edit] Hi There!
I'm a regular visitor to Wikipedia who has only just decided to start using my user account. I created this user account a while ago to upload a picture. Since then i've not really bothered to log in, so all my other edits will appear anonymously under the IP address 62.31.12.18 .
I would not call myself a contributor, but I do make some small gnomish edits whenever I feel they are necessary. Usually I just fix obvious spelling mistakes, and add citations and references where I am able to do so. I also re-tag the odd image and tag articles which don't have proper references - I can't stand it when people edit unverified or original research into articles!
I'm a firm believer in the value of Wikipedia as an encyclopedia. I always stick up for it in conversation, pointing towards the three content governing policies: neutrality, verifiability and 'no original research'. Anyone who has doubts about the value of Wikipedia should be pointed toward the steadily growing number of Good and Featured articles, which have all been checked and reviewed with these policies in mind.
