[edit] Terminology
There's a lot of terminology herein, perhaps obsolete, with which I'm not familiar and can't find in current dog books. I linked them but perhaps they're better translated to modern dog terminology? In particular, "overchanging", "ribbed up", "roached" (is this "arched"?), "haw" (is this "inflamed nictitating membrane" or maybe "turned to one side" (as in gee/haw)?).
