[edit] Summary
If you plan on generating a new map for wikipedia by zooming in on this map and making some modifications, please consider a source map in SVG format instead, which will produce a higher quality image. These can be found in the SVG section at Wikipedia:Blank Maps.
Similar to en:Image:BlankMap-World-v2.png except for the following differences:
- Not just microstates under 2500 km2, but every country that's represented on the map with less than 18 pixels is now increased to that size on the map (countries that end up affected by this are Cape Verde, Gambia, Luxembourg, Brunei, Qatar, Trinidad and Tobago)
- Not black borders in the above-needed country-dots, but white borders same as every other country. More elegant I think.
- Am adding some of the big islands north of Norway and Russia, which I kinda missed.
- The dependent territories of Hong Kong and Macau are not depicted.
Also see Image:BlankMap-World-v4-colored.png which is based on the above, and has black borders, blue seas, and white land. Also Image:BlankMap-World-v5.png which has thin lines joining areas owned by the same country to aid in one-click coloring.
