Astral dreadnought

Astral dreadnoughts are outsiders in the Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game. They first appeared on the cover of the first edition AD&D Manual of the Planes cover. They attack characters wandering around the Astral Plane by attacking their silver cords. They also make use of anti-magic to weaken characters who are dependent on magic items and spells for power. Dreadnoughts have no society, and are seemingly without any motivation except to attack those who desecrate the bodies of the dead gods.
