ASTRI IC Designs Group

ASTRI IC Designs Group was founded by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2001. It performs research and development in industrial technology transfer and acts as a focal point that brings together industry and university research and development assets in order to increase the regions technological competitiveness.
The focus of ASTRI's IC Designs program is to expand the technology base of Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta's (PRD) design industry in order to explore growth opportunities presented by the worldwide semiconductor markets in general, and the China growing markets in particular.
Priorities will be technologies and skills for developing complex system-on-chip IC designs that have small form factor and low power consumption requirements.
