Armalite is a melodic hardcore/punk rock band from Philadelphia band started in 2003 by Atom Goren (of Atom And His Package, and Mike McKee on vocals and guitar. Dan Yemin, previously a member of Philadelphia based melodic hardcore outfit Kid Dynamite and currently playing in harcore band Paint It Black on bass guitar and Jeff Ziga on drums.
The band have released one, 11-track, self-titled album in March 2006 on independent No Idea Records.
The band played the punk music festival Fest V in Gainsville, FL alongside contemporaries Lifetime, None More Black, Affirmative Action Jackson and Paint It Black in October of 2006.
