Archibald Asparagus

Archibald Asparagus is a character in the animated movies of the VeggieTales series. He has a taste for “class” and wants more than anything to turn the usually wacky VeggieTales into a more “classy”, serious work. Archibald was inspired by the Monty Python's Flying Circus character "The Colonel", a stuffy army officer played by Graham Chapman who occasionally appeared out of nowhere to order the end of a sketch. Archie is voiced by VeggieTales Founder, Phil Vischer.
His 3D-animated depiction has remained generally the same over the years, except that the vectors have become less sharp with rising CG technology.

- God Wants Me to Forgive Them?! - Plays a millionaire in the story "Larry's Lagoon".
- Are You My Neighbor? - Plays the mayor of Flibber-O-Loo in "The Story of Flibber-O-Loo".
- Dave and the Giant Pickle - Appears in the silly song "Love My Lips" and plays King Saul in "David and Goliath".
- Larryboy and the Fib from Outer Space! - Plays Alfred, Larryboy's butler.
- Josh and the Big Wall - Plays the commander of the Lord's army in "Joshua" and appears in the silly song "Song of the Cebu".
- Madame Blueberry - Appears in the silly song to cancel Silly Songs "until further notice".
- The End of Silliness? - Plays himself and gives Larry back his Silly Songs.
- Larryboy and the Rumor Weed - Reprises his role as Larryboy's butler, Alfred.
- Lyle the Kindly Viking - Takes over the show in an attempt to make it very "classy".
- Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie - Stars as the title character, Jonah, and plays singing sensation Twippo.
- Ballad of Little Joe - Plays an assistant to the mayor of Dodgeball City.
- Sumo of the Opera - Pops up twice in "Sumo of the Opera", explaining a silkscreen and a haiku.
- Lord of the Beans - Plays Billboy Baggypants, Toto's uncle.
- Sheerluck Holmes and the Golden Ruler - Plays Don Quioxte in "Asparagus of LaMancha" and plays the Prime Minister in "Sheerluck Holmes".
- Larryboy and the Bad Apple - Reprises his role once again as Larryboy's butler, Alfred.
- Gideon: Tuba Warrior - Plays George Miller in the sidestory.
