Amber Child-Cavill was born in 2005 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, UK. She has a sister Jessica, a twin sister Molly and a brother Samuel.

Her sister Jessica Child-Cavill is better known as Amy Kirkwall in ITV's Where the Heart Is, her brother Samuel Child-Cavill also made an appearance in the drama.

Amber's first known TV appearance is in Emmerdale where she plays the role of toddler Sarah Dingle, the daughter of local farmer Andy Sugden and teenage mechanic Debbie Dingle, who was just 15 when she was born on the 6th June 2005. Her first appearance was shown on the 4th October 2006.
